The organization is managed by an executive team consisting of an Executive Director, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Financial Officer. Leadership reports to a 16-member Board of Directors that includes community residents and representatives from the public and private sectors. LCW has a fierce and long-term commitment to building the voices and strength of our mostly low-income, immigrant, Latino members, and a well-deserved reputation for genuine resident investment in—and ownership of—organizational direction and activities. Members, who reflect the demographics of Lawrence, consistently serve on the LCW board, inform strategic conversations about LCW’s work, and support other members in connecting to resources. While some board members are appointed as required by our bylaws, most are elected by LCW’s membership.
